Leaning Into EFT S2E4 | “The CARE Model” with Dr. Feion Villodas

Welcome to the second season of “Leaning into EFT” where participants will get a front row seat observing live therapy sessions unfold with couples, individuals and families. Each episode will feature the work of a different supervisor or trainer, where the therapist will walk us through their session and note key choice points, interventions and share their process and reflections of the session. Purchase a season pass at any point or one episode at a time.

We aim to create a safe, welcoming, low-cost space to gather, engage, learn and bask in the richness of our gifted EFT community. We hope you can join us! Attendees may purchase a pass to the entire season (all episodes), or may purchase a single episode at a time. If selecting a single episode, please indicate which episode you intend to attend.

Some episodes will be recorded for later viewing.

S2E4 | “The CARE Model” with Dr. Feion Villodas

FRIDAY, JUNE 23 2023, 10:00AM-12:00PM PST

We are intimately shaped by the identities we carry, and impacted by the contexts that we live in. In Episode 4 of Leaning Into EFT, Dr. Feion Villodas brings us into the leading edge of the EFT model, teaching us how to apply the CARE model. This Attachment-Informed framework is used to strengthen therapist’s ability to attend to and engage key emotions within the context of a client's experience, with attention to Identity, Environment, and Relationship history (personal and family/intergenerational).

Dr. Villodas is a leader in the EFT community as an anti-racist consultant, and has worked extensively with the EFT community to develop culturally attuned lenses and interventions in our work with clients.  In addition, Dr. Villodas is an integral part of training teams for Externship and Core Skills series across the U.S.
