Prerequisites, Qualifications, and Agreements

Participants must:

  1. have completed an ICEEFT-approved externship in EFT.
  2. be licensed therapists or license-eligible psychotherapy interns or otherwise legally allowed to practice as mental health professionals.
  3. be using EFT with at least one couple who is willing to be videotaped for case consultation.

Completing the registration and first payment enrolls the applicant in the full course series and reserves the space for attendance in all sessions of the training and is a declaration of intent to complete the course. This is important because space in the course is limited.

We have found over the years that Core Skills works best when all participants attend all sessions. However we know sometimes exceptions need to be made. We will do our best to work with you regarding special and unforeseen circumstances.

Certification is offered by ICEEFT based on completion of all requirements and demonstrated competence in the model. Completion of training does not guarantee competence or certification.
